RVA

Here are some things that happened this week:

Picnics in the park with new-ish friends and documenting it. We took photos of each other taking photos of each other. It’s how memories are made.

Road trips to Joplin for a family celebration. Dancing in the car to good music. Yes, I car dance.

New inside jokes with the sisters. :)))

I made some of the cutest headbands I have ever crafted. :)

I marked everything down in the shop except some photo prints and art. Go check it out! I want to get rid of everything in it to start adding new items!

More photo shoots for AVENEU. LOTS of shooting opportunities for me. :-D

New haaaaaaaaaaaair!

I took photos of my friend Paris and her brother for a Mothers’ Day gift for their mom.

Little Sophia was incredibly fun to photograph and make headbands for! I made five for her as a gift to her mommy. :)

Well, that is all the photos I have for this week. I am surprised I have any with as busy as this last week has been!

This was my last week working in the localĀ RVA shop so I will be on the hunt for other means of making money this next week. Wish me luck and/or pray for me because I have a feeling this next month will be another really hard one. However, we will press on, like we always do, and keep in mind how wonderful God has been to us. :)

I am looking forward to being able to try to accomplish some of the items on my list as well over the next few days. What does your week have in store for you?

… and I’ll dress like an insane person and eat all the cupcakes I want? Not the original song lyrics, but this version I can relate to. :)

I semi-edited over 100 photos from my party, taken mostly by the wonderful Willard, and posted them here if you want to see or snag them for your own blog post. Some of my favorites are below.

The night before my party, on my actual birthday, at the RVA First Friday Party (mask-themed).

Katie made me this for my birthday! I love her. A lot of other sweet friends gave me gifts, but I didn’t get photos of them. Thanks so much to all of you. It made me feel great to know I have thoughtful friends. :)

Dad says I can change the world. A certain someone says I am retarded. You pick which one to believe. ;)

The making of my ginormous hat that I didn’t even wear most of the night. ha!

The table set. (Sorry, Paris!) I have been kicking myself a ton because we didn’t get decoration photos. We worked so hard! Go me. ha

I gave Janel the opportunity to go around and take instax photos of everyone and she did an awesome job. Thanks, Janel! Her birthday was on April 5. Happy birthday, lovely girl!

Sooooo happy they came! They are my favorite local couple. Hands down. The end. :)

This is Emjay stuffing her face. Michelle, I had to. ;-p Everyone decorated their own cupcake. We had Devil’s Food, Red Velvet (my favorite for years), Lemon, and Vanilla. I think there was plenty to go around. :)

Showing off my duds to Michelle and Jenny. I love them. And I love my costume. So, it was pretty much the perfect moment for me. :)

After a while, we moved some things outside and decided to take some snap shots. :)

Rachel with her favorite hatter.

Girls, what is really in those tea cups? ;-p

Dear Haley.

Kristen had to work but she stopped by anyway and JUST IN TIME! Thanks so much, friend!

Michelle and Amy. :)

Jenny and Janel!

Sweet Carol and Haley.

Michelle, lay off the sauce… and my boyfriend. ;-p You see, Michelle stayed with us after everyone else left. Will and her hit it off pretty well…

… Too well, I would say. Ha!

** Just to be serious: Michelle is not a home-wrecker, nor an alcoholic. In fact, no alcohol was consumed at my party. Just thought I would squash any rumors or assumptions that may spin from this. :)

Janel looks amazing in this photo! I love it!

The Sheltons. I have tons of photos of this cute family that I will share at a later time. :)

Thanks to everyone who came to the party and a special thanks to those who helped get everything together for it. I love you deeply. :)

Enormous hugs to Mr. Will Man for taking all of the photos. I love love love you, sweet sir!

More photos to come… at some point. :)))

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone! I just wanted to stop by really quick before getting too into my work for the day. I am thinking about making this a little ritual of mine. You know, wake up and eat breakfast while blogging. Sounds lovely, eh? ;)

Anyway, I am hoping to write another post sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. For now, I am working in the shop. I am excited that we have a huge front window for me to watch the snow come down! I say excited now, but I will be dreading being out in that snow once 5pm rolls around. haha

SIDE NOTE: Make sure you stop by the online store tonight. Elsie is planning a mini-update! It should be great, like always. :)

What does your day hold for you? Tell me, tell me!! :)

P.S. I promise to comment back to you all by later tonight. Sorrryyyyy!

Hey! I was going through my Photo Booth photos and thought it would be fun to share some of the with you. Here is the first batch of the best Photo Booth photos I’ve taken since I got my Mac. (Yes, I am a Mac.) I will be back tomorrow with more! :))Can you tell that, even though 2009 was a pain sometimes, we made it a good year? :) Have a beautiful night. I love you and you and you and…

p.s. Take a look below at the other posts from the last couple days. :)

Hey there! So, my week was so jammed with stuff that I didn’t have much time to take photos. However, I still will share a bit about my week, along with a few other things. These things made my week great:

Being featured on one of my pretty friends’ blog. She is super sweet and crafty. Check her out!

Chatting it up with some lovelies.

Such a cool photo shoot with an awesome guy!

Secret projects! Muah hahahahaha!!

Cutting out store decorations for RVA. :))

This guy. Always, this guy. :)

So, yeah. I guess I didn’t have a lot of new photos, but you get the idea that it was still a decent week. Now, on to more stuff…

So, I have these ideas. Lots and lots of them. I just need people to help me out. If you are in town and want to help with a photo shoot or two (or three or…) email me at erinsundayphoto[at]gmail.com.

Also, I am having an Alice in Wonderland inspired costume party. I want it to be decorated like crazy because a lot of people from all over are coming. I have some really great ideas but I want more! I could use any ideas from decorations, table centerpieces, photo booth props, backdrops, etc. (Ask your friends, too!) Email me if you have some at erinsunday3.5[at]gmail. I only have a month to get everything in order. It’s exciting but could very easily get stressful with all the other stuff going on right now. Ok, so I guess that is all for now. I look forward to hearing from you guys!

How was your week? I ask a lot, but hardly ever get an answer. So, tell me! How was it?

love, scout

p.s. I’m tired of trying to keep track of the week number for this, so I won’t be doing it any more. ha.

Good day to you all! How were your mornings? I have been up since 5am working away. It’s been fun but I am ready for a nap. No time for that, though! I am having a fun few hours at RVA and then (finally) picking up my car. From there, I somehow have to manage updating our etsy shop and get to a meeting all before 6pm. Ha! Crazy! We will see how I do. I am finished with editing all the photos for the update which I think is the longest part. I thought I would show you a couple favorites. :)

And now… we wait. ;-)

Our update is happening tonight right around 6pm. Please check it out and let me know what you think!! :)
