Monthly Archives: June 2010

I hope this inspires you as much as me. My friend, Alex, made this. This is her description for it:
“Field Studies follows five college art students in their final two weeks of their education. Caleb Knodell is a drawing major, Kelsey Steffes is a Design and Illustration Major with a minor in Printmaking, Adam Bowlin, James Mulvenon and Jamie Kalil are Design majors. Field studies was shot on a Canon 7d , primarily using a 50mm f/1.4 lens. None of the shots were color corrected or tampered with in anyway.”

I hope you all have a beautiful day! I will be back later, hopefully. :)

Will, Emjay, and I all spent the night chatting it up. It was rather fun. HOWEVER, I completely forgot to hit pause when Emjay did. Good times.

** NOTE: Will Vastine is full of crap and nothing he says in this video should be taken as fact or used against me. That said, enjoy the video. ;)

I just can’t seem to keep up with everything lately. I always say I will be back here and then disappear. I am sorry. I am trying! :)

Life has been busy. I have been traveling to and from a few different towns A LOT. It’s been fun but tiring. I have been a second shooter at, not one but, two weddings and done a couple other shoots.

I have also spent pretty much every day, that I am not working, with the family. It’s been so crazy!

I kind of feel like pulling my hair out at times. haha

In all seriousness, I am loving life as much as I can. I am itching to get out a shoot more professionally. Praying and hoping it can happen! I am actually doing a couple of packages/specials for my sessions. So, if anyone is interested, shoot me an email [erinsundayphoto(at)gmail(dot)com] and we will talk. :)

I guess this was just a random “update you” post. Hopefully the next one will be better.

So, I am shooting my second wedding with my good friend Katie on Saturday. The wedding is in Independence and seeing as this is only the second time in my life shooting something this big… I am nervous.

This also means I have an extreme need for good music. The drive to Mission, Kansas (where Katie lives) is roughly 3 hours, so I need music to keep me company on the way!

I have 5 empty discs. Help me fill them up with good road trip songs! :)

And I have a lovely new addition to my library, from the wonderful guy sitting behind me. :)

Alright, I look forward to your suggestions. I will keep adding until I have them filled up or until I need to leave tomorrow. So excited to hear your favorites! :)

P.S. If you find yourself bored for some reason, feel free to drop me a question or two here. :)))

My friend, Julia, came to stay with us that last few days of May. She is an amazing photographer and we were lucky enough to have her snap a few photos of us while she was here. We were both very excited because these are the first real photos we’ve had taken of us together.

I am so grateful for her visit here. We joked around while she was here saying we were like twins, but I truly feel as though I now have another sister. :)

You  all can find her here:

She is great and I think you will like her as much as I do. :)

In other news, I am going to try very hard at becoming more present here. I want to start back with my daily posts again. I’ve missed you guys. I hope you all have done great things while I have been away!

P.S. I also have a Formspring now. Feel free to ask me all the questions you want! :)

So, I got a Formspring account so that I can answer questions and keep you updated when I can’t post here. I promise to give an explanation soon as to why I have been so absent. Please forgive me. I won’t be away much longer. I just have some tough stuff to deal with right now. I love and miss you all, though! Until then, feel free to ask me anything you feel like. :)
